The book of Ezekiel starts with Ezekiel saying, "...I saw visions of God." Dictionary.com defines "vision" (in this context) as "an experience in which a personage, thing, or event appears vividly or credibly to the mind, although not actually present, often under the influence of a divine or other agency. Compare HALLUCINATION."
Is this a good definition of a biblical vision? Why or why not?
